Nate Marquardt defeated Rousimar Palhares by TKO in Round 1

Palhares was on the ground protesting to Herb Dean that Marquardt's leg was greased up after he escaped from an attempted heel hook when Marquardt smashed him. Palhares even felt Marquardt's leg post fight to check it for grease. In the post fight interview with Marquardt Joe Rogan mentioned that Marquardt's legs were checked by officials pre and post fight and nothing was found on his legs. Palhares apologized for the accusation in the post fight press conference.

Charles Oliveira defeated Efrain Escudero by submission in Round 3

Oliveira locked on a standing rear naked choke in spectacular fashion to get the win. This was a good fight and Oliveira really showed just how good of a prospect he really is. His standup looked fantastic especially his well timed flying knees. Another point of note is that Oliveira took a low blow early in the 3rd and for some reason was being rushed by the referee to get back to the action. It was so bad even Joe Rogan made mention of it live on the air. The referee in question...the Steve Mazzagati of Texas, Kerry Hatley. How many terrible refereeing mistakes can you make in one fucking month? Dangerous late stoppage, illegal knee, rushing a fighter after a an unintentional foul...all in ONE month. Kerry Hatley is now one of the worst refs in all of MMA.

Jim Miller defeated Gleison Tibau by unanimous decision

This fight wasn't nearly as shitty as I thought it was going to be. It was super close and the decision really could have gone either way but in the end I think Miller doing more damage won him the fight.

Cole Miller defeated Ross Pearson by submission in Round 2

Miller locked on a rear naked choke after rocking Pearson with a big left hook. Good explosive finish by Miller especially considering the fact that Pearson at that point was winning the standup battle landing more and harder shots than Miller was. Very impressive win by Cole Miller.
