Megumi Fujii is looking to set a new MMA record in her Bellator women's 115lb division semi final fight tonight. If she wins she'll be the first fighter in MMA history to go 22-0 to start their career. Former WEC Bantamweight champion Miguel Torres went 20-0, Jason Black and Satoko Shinashi (along with Fujii) went 21-0. Fujii had previously defeated Ward by armbar submission in round 1 of their first fight for Bodog, if she can repeat her performance she'll stand alone with the best perfect record in MMA history.
The sad thing is she'll get very little press for it.
